COVID Talk / Colleen Perone

For those who don’t know you, tell us a little about you.

I’m the Operations Manager here at Bop Design and have been with the company for 4.5 years now. My primary role at Bop is make sure everyone has what they need to do their best work. I’m also responsible for our crafted office culture; determining stimulating activities to keep our employees thriving while working remotely in the midst of a global pandemic.

What steps has your agency taken to remain operational during the COVID-19 crisis?

Transitioned to working from home.

What have you learned to do better during this time (as an agency)?

Improve my processes and have more video conference calls and checkins.

What have you learned to do better during this time (as an individual)?

Communicate and be more compassionate to others health and safety.

How have you responded to the changes in your client’s business strategy?

Help clients with Covid-19 messaging.

In what ways has quarantine sparked your creativity?

It hasn't, except for more vivid dreams.

How do you stay productive at home? (aka: kids, school, spouse, laundry)

Structure, I start work earlier to cushion my day and I take 2 walks to break it all up.

What’s the funniest thing that has happened in the background of your zoom session?

The vast amounts of screens changes.

Given our current circumstance, what opportunities do you foresee for yourself or agency that can provide solutions?

Increased copy around Covid-19 concerns.

Looking to the future, how do you see the marketing landscape shifting?

Digital space may be the only commerce landscape moving forward. Driving people to websites to make purchases is vital now more than ever.
