Nicole Ellingson

Group Creative Director at Quigley Simpson

I've been an artist and storyteller my entire life. I love advertising, because I get to tell stories each day that weave human emotion with strategic insights. My career began with entertainment marketing and key art design. My first big campaign was for SONY Entertainment, where I designed a new brand look and feel that wrapped all of SONY's offerings. I then landed at TBWA\Chiat\Day where I worked on the Visa GO, Pepsi Refresh, and Gatorade "That's G" campaigns. It was the Pepsi Refresh campaign that showed me the power of advertising to impact social good and from there I made it my mission to leverage the power of advertising with care. I launched my own boutique brand agency in Venice, California where I continued this mission. I am currently a Group Creative Director at Quigley-Simpson, the largest woman-owned agency in North America, where I am leading campaigns for Chase Bank, Marriott Hotels, and the Ball Aluminum Cup. Telling stories around travel for Marriott has been my greatest pleasure, as I truly believe in the power of travel to make us a more connected and compassionate people. I just wrapped a shoot in Bali where we leaned into the magic of these connections. It all comes back to human stories and I'm grateful to share these moments with the world through my work.
